Mr. W.A. (Dub) Wilson 78, a resident of Galt, Missouri died at 12:12 P.M. Monday September 20, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
His body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.
Mr. Wilson was born on August 25, 1943 at Spickard, Missouri the son of Russell and Freda (Obermeyer) Wilson. He attended Farmers Valley until 6th grade before graduating at Spickard High school in 1962. After high school he worked at universal farms. He also was a tractor mechanic before being empolyed at Nestle Where he retired from in December 2007.
On Oct. 27, 1963 he married Glennie Sanders in Spickard. Which proceed him in death.
Dub had a farm, where he loved working out in his shop working on tractors, he enjoyed fishing and horses. He always enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones. He was very talkative man well known to so many.
On November 18, 2000 he was married to Laura Seller at Spickard, Missouri.
His survivors include: his wife Laura Wilson of the home, Two daughters Tonya Hardy (George), Thompson, Missouri, Kimberly Miller, Jamesport, Missouri; Five sons Mike Sanders (Theresa), Centralia, Missouri, Mark Sanders (Gina), Tindall, Missouri, Denver Wilson (Sabra), Thompson, Missouri, Jason Miller (Kari), Joey Miller (Tiffany), Trenton, Missouri, one brother Lonnie Wilson,Spickard, Missouri, twenty-eight grandchildren include, Michael Sanders, Centralia, Missouri, Samantha Wilkerson, (Jake) Centralia, Missouri, Kyle Yuille (Amy), Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Crystal Doolittle, Tindall, Missouri, Samuel Corwin (Erin), Edinburg, Missouri, Stacy Wilson, Laredo, Missouri, Stephanie Swank (Justin), Trenton, Missouri, Dakota Wilson, Huntsville, Missouri, Jessica Mook,Booneville, Missouri, Amber Pinerio (Alonzo), Clarksville, Tennesse, Mary Baumann (Rick), Paris, Missouri, Glennie Hardy, Columbia, Missouri and several more including 23 great-grandchildren.
We will be having a celebration of life at the Spickard Christian Church on Ootober 2, 2021 from 11-2 followed by a dinner afterwards.
