Virginia Rader, a 93 year old former Grundy County resident passed away at 8:10 a.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, MO.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A visitation is scheduled from1:00 until service time Wednesday. Open viewing will be from noon until 6:00 Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Salem Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Masks and social distancing is requested by the family.
Virginia Lee Rader was born December 10, 1928 North of Galt, MO to Harold A. and Edna (Burress) Leytham. She graduated from Galt High School. She was a long time treasurer of the Salem Cemetery.
On September 19, 1949 she was united in marriage to Marvin Rader in Chillicothe, MO. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1991. Virginia was an avid bird watcher and loved her flowers.
Surviving relatives include her children, Kenneth Rader and wife Deloris of Pleasant Valley, MO, Sharon Williams and husband Keith of Richmond, and Sheryl Mullins and husband Dennis of Independence, a sister Joyce Christen and husband John of Merna, NE; grandchildren Christopher Mullins, Aaron Mullins, Toy Williams, Troy Williams, Eleanor Winn, Tracy Hendrickson, and Harry Rader, and several great and great-great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a brother Harold Leytham Jr., and grandchildren Zachary Jordon and Billy Keith Williams
