Mrs. Virgie Lou Brown 91, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 12:00 P.M., Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton, Missouri.
Private services will be held with burial following in Resthaven Memorial Gardens north of Trenton, Missouri.
Memorials to Hope House of Kansas City, Missouri and maybe left with Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.
Mrs. Brown was born September 25, 1930 in Trenton, Missouri the daughter of Kenneth and Mary E. Wingate Wickizer. She graduated from Trenton High School. Before retiring she was employed by the Trenton R-9 School District as a Cook.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Trenton, Missouri.
On July 16, 1947 she was married to Ferris Brown at Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her death on April 29, 2001.
Her survivors include her son Gary Brown and wife Aida, Collinsville, Illinois; two grandchildren Denny Brown and wife Aimee, North Platte, Nebraska, Jennifer Edmundson and husband Eric, Gladstone, Missouri; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Debra Kay Brown.
