Shirley L. (Snidow) May

Mrs. Shirley L. May 85, a resident of Humphreys, Missouri died at 5:40 A.M., Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton. Burial will be in Humphreys Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials to Humphreys Cemetery and may be left with the funeral home.

Mrs. May was born June 22, 1936 in Trenton, Missouri the daughter of Roscoe G. (Jug) and Ruby Marlin Snidow. She graduated from Jamesport High School. She then obtained her LPN Certificate and worked for several homes and doctor’s offices in the area before retiring.

She was married to Gary L. May on July 11, 1971 at Humphreys, Missouri.

Her survivors include her husband Gary of the home. One son Michael W. Stubbs and wife Joetta, Columbia, Missouri. Two step daughters Donna Lemmerman, Hobe, Florida, Brenda May, Jacksonville, Florida, three grandchildren Kelli Stubbs, Jeff Stubbs, Brad Stubbs and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ann Allen, two brothers Bob Snidow and Jerry Snidow.
