Obituary

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Newton McCracken 72, a lifelong resident of Trenton, Missouri died peacefully at his home at 8:50 P.M., Friday, July 30, 2021.

His body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri. At his request no services are planned at this time.

Memorials may be made the Trenton Quarterback Club and left with the funeral home.

Bobby was born July 18, 1949 in Trenton, Missouri the son of Donald “Duckie” and Mildred Miller McCracken.

He graduated from Trenton High School in 1968. He was a big fan of Trenton High School Football traveling to all games and listing on the radio when he couldn’t. He started work on the Rock Island Railroad until their closure in 1980, then he worked on numerous railroads even working out of state. From 1996-2005 he was owner and operator of Snappy’s.

He was married to Cindy Humphreys on March 26, 1976.

His survivors include his wife Cindy of the home. Two sons Timothy (Valerie) Humphreys, Chillicothe, Missouri, Robert “Craig” (Michele) McCracken, Jefferson City, Missouri, one daughter Tiffany (Johnny) Norris, Marshall, Missouri, five grandchildren Justin, Jason, and Sarah McCracken, Westley and Wyatt Brandsgaard. One sister Donna (Glee) Guess, Lee’s Summit, Missouri and one brother Bill (Lynda) McCracken, Trenton, Missouri. Numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and former daughter-in-law Michelle McCracken.
