Robert Whitham Obituary

Robert Whitham, a 62 year old Jamesport resident, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

There will be a private burial in the Clear Creek Cemetery near Lock Springs.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with or mailed to Slater Neal Funeral Home.

Robert Alan Whitham was born September 4, 1963 in Tarkio, MO to Robert Keith and Patsy Ann (Graham) Whitham.  Robert worked for the City of Rockport before starting Whitham Roofing and Construction.  He spent many years working construction, amongst other odd jobs, but his favorite job he ever had was working at Slater Neal funeral home.

He loved fishing, hunting and making bows. He loved the Lord and he loved his family.  Playing music was a passion and he was in a band called the Show Me Ramblers where he, Shyre and Rodney played many country dances, fairs and other events all over North MO.

On April 28, 2024 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Jessica Fellhauer.

Robert was a handy man and could figure out how to fix just about anything.

His faith in Christ he held above all, including his family. And his faith in Jesus Christ to cover his sin was unwavering even in his last days.

Surviving relatives include his wife Jessica of the home, children Milo, Wheatley, Van and Rosalita, all of the home, daughter Penny Marie Mann of Bethany, son Aaron D. Brookshire of Warsaw, MO, siblings; Marsha Houge and husband Travis of Warsaw, MO, Dena O’Connell and husband Rodney of Tarkio, MO, Mike Whitham of Fairfax, MO, and Vicki Sue Riley of St. Joseph, MO, several step siblings including Candy Taylor of Rock Port, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Seth Whitham.
