Robert Crowder, a 72 year old El Dorado Springs resident, passed away, January 3, 2026 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2026 at Slater Neal Funeral Home in Trenton, MO. Burial will follow in Half Rock Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to help with final expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Robert Lee Crowder was born January 1, 1954 in Morrilton, AR to Hubert Lee and Ruby Mae (Haston) Crowder. On June 1, 1982 he was united in marriage to Judy Herring in Miami, OK. She preceded him in death on November 26, 2013. Robert worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved to work with wood and was known as a handyman, building sheds, decks and anything needed. He also enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting.
Surviving relatives include his daughter Michelle Crowder of Kansas City, MO, step sons Clay Shoemaker, Cevin Shoemaker and Todd Miller all of Kansas City, MO, sisters Marilyn Wright of Preston, MO, Christine Wright of Springfield, MO, and Alene Carsten of Kansas City, MO, and several grandchildren.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, wife, and brothers Joe Willard Crowder and John lee Crowder.
