Ralph Cutsinger Obituary

Ralph Cutsinger, a 76 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 3:36 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO, where he had been a patient in the hospital cardiac ICU for a week.

 

Ralph was born March 10, 1944 in Trenton to Mary Maxine McKay and Carl Cutsinger.  His family always lived around the Trenton, Galt and Humphreys areas.  He graduated from Galt High School with the class of 1962.  After graduation, he hauled milk before enlisting in the United States Navy for four years.  After he was out of the service he worked a short time at Modine, Trenton Foods, and Goodyear.  In 1971, he started working at TMU in the electric department, where he was employed for 29 years.  On January 22, 1971 he was united in marriage to Joyce Benson.  They lived all their married lives in Trenton.  Ralph loved his family and friends and working on old cars.  He was a very proud American and would do anything for friends or family.

 

Surviving relatives include his wife Joyce of the home, son Corie Cutsinger and wife Marcie of Trenton, daughter Kristi Cutsinger of Trenton, daughter Shawna Dull and husband Randy of CA, grandchildren Dakota and Madi Cutsinger of Trenton, Shaeley and Keilan Dull of CA, sisters Louise Torrey and husband Sam of Riverside, IA, Lois Hagen and husband Dennis of Ft. Madison, IA, and Betty Wilson of Revere, MO, brothers Vic Hunter and wife Amber of MacClenney, FL, and Larry Hunter and wife Linda of Warsaw, IL, many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that he considered family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Glen Hunter, father-in-law Jim Benson and brother-in-law Dave Wilson.

 

Per Ralph’s wishes an informal Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.  The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to the Cardiac ICU at St. Luke’s on the Plaza and left with or mailed to Slater Neal Funeral Home in Trenton.  Please put Ralph’s name in the memo line.
