Pius Nyakoojo

Mr. Pius Nyakoojo 28, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 at Topsy Cemetery northeast of Spickard, MO.  The body is at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Pius was born December 3, 1993 in Uganda, in East Africa the son of Wilfred Nyakoojo and Anne N. (Komugisa) Miller. He graduated from Trenton High School then attended Westminister College, Fulton, Missouri and then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Missouri, Columbia.

His survivors include his mother and step-father Anne and Arthur Miller, Trenton, Missouri; his father Wilfred Nyakoojo, of New York; two sisters Winfred Nyakoojo, Columbia & Abigail Nyakoojo, New York, Missouri &; four  brothers Bonnie Nyakoojo, Columbia, Missouri, Michael Nyakoojo, Trenton,Missouri, Grant Miller, Trenton,Missouri  and Adnah Nyakoojo, New York, his grandfather Vincent Byekwaso of Uganda, uncles Godfrey Bahiigwa of Kenja, and Christopher Karungi of Jefferson City, gardians James and Nancy Treu of Kansas City, Missouri and Marcia and Tim Guerrant of Fulton, MO.
