Patty L. (Carver) Axtell

Mrs. Patty Lee Axtell, 72 year old Galt, Missouri resident passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Galt Christian Church. Burial of her cremains will be held later at Camp Ground Cemetery east of Osgood, Missouri.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Church.

Memorials to either Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri or Camp Ground Cemetery and they may be left at the Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Patty was born June 11, 1949 the daughter of Gene and Frances Rhoades Carver.

Patty retired from Modine MFG., Trenton in 2014 after 37 years of employment. Patty and Bob had moved to Galt in November 2020 after living in Trenton for 44 years. She enjoyed her flowers and feeding birds. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her grandchildren.

She was united in marriage to Bob Axtell on June 8, 1969.

Her survivors include her husband Bob of the home; her children Elaine Golden and Alan, Jared Axtell and Gentry all of Galt; her grandchildren Darby Golden, Milan, Tracer Golden and Sadie Axtell both of Galt, Braiden Turpin, Chillicothe, Missouri, Katie Turpin, Galt; her siblings Karen Willis, Nedra Stephenson, Rick Carver, and Brenda Hein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Lois Axtell, and one sister Sharon McLelland.
