Patrichia Ann (Stewart) Cunningham

Ann Cunningham, an 82 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 5:07 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at St. Luke’s North in Kansas City.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Half Rock Cemetery.  A visitation will be from 1:00 until service time Wednesday.  Memorial donations are suggested to Half Rock Cemetery, Wild Cemetery, or the Galt Christian Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Patrichia Ann Cunningham was born October 2, 1939 in Mercer County to Hadley and Mildred (Arnote) Stewart.  She attended Norton Grade School of Mercer and Grundy County Districts 86 &11, and graduated from Princeton High School before spending a year at Trenton Junior College.  On June 8, 1958 she was united in marriage to Everett Cunningham at her parent’s house in Mercer County.  Ann was an active member of 4H, working for the 4H YEA office with University Extension.  She was also inducted into the 4H Hall of Fame and was a 4H group leader many years.  She was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church and has been attending Galt Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include her husband Everett of the home, daughters Patsy Griffin and husband Fred of Trenton, and Mary Ellen Johnson and husband Derlin of Trenton, a sister Louise Johnson of Trenton, Five grandchildren, Sherri Kelsall, Freddie Griffin and wife Shelby, Lea Ann Boyle and husband Kellon, Latorrie Johnson, and Levi Johnson, a step grandchild Jolene Griffin, eleven great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
