Mr. Otto J. Gumm 94, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri died at 12:40 A.M., Monday, May 24, 2021 at North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri.
Family visitation will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary. Private graveside and burial will be held later in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri.
Memorials to the Parkinson’s Foundation and may be left with the mortuary.
Mr. Gumm was born August 28, 1926 at Tindall, Missouri the son of William P. and Martha L. Polley Gumm. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed before retiring as a Trailer Mechanic for Fruehauf Trailer Repair Shop.
He was a member of Alpha Lodge No. 659, A.F. & A.M., North Kansas City, Missouri and Ararat Shriner, Kansas City, Missouri.
On October 30, 1948 he was married to Bonnie Gean Keith at Trenton, Missouri.
His survivors include his wife Bonnie, Kansas City, Missouri. One daughter Pamela Beverlin (Michael), Trenton, Missouri. Three grandchildren Nicole Murdoch, Tiffany Striegel (Tom), Travis Beverlin (Terie), six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother and two half brothers.
