Nancy Lee (Lyons) Sprout

Nancy Sprout, a 77 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 5:14 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 17, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  She is to be cremated following the services with inurnment at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  A visitation is scheduled from 5 until 6 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral expenses.

Nancy Lee Sprout was born October 23, 1944 in Davenport, IA to Theodore and Bertha (Garrow) Lyons.  She was united in marriage to Ronald “Ronnie” Sprout on August 18, 1962, in Bettendorf, IA.  When she was able Nancy was active with the Galt Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  She was always active with children and grandchildren’s sports and activities.

Surviving relatives include her husband Ron of the home, children, Tammie Metcalfe and husband Greg of Kearney, Dennine Gott and husband James of Galt, MO, Ronald Sprout and wife Ronda of Gibbs, MO, sisters Debbie Rasler and husband Jon of Princeton, IA, and Doreen Walsh of Bettendorf, IA, brother Ted Lyons and wife Linda of Bettendorf, IA, grandchildren Angie Gott, Shawn Gott, Dillon Metcalfe, Lindsey Metcalfe, Adam Songer, and Jordon Songer, and five great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, and a brother-in-law George Walsh.
