Nancy Jo (Humphries) Owens

Mrs. Nancy Jo Owens, 74, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 1:07 P.M., Monday, January 6, 2025 at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Memorials to Green Hills Animal Shelter and maybe left with the funeral home.

Mrs. Owens was born March 7, 1950 in McPherson, Kansas the daughter of Wallace Christopher and Audrey Jean Haworth Humphries. Was a substance abuse counselor for mental health centers until she retired in 2007.

On May 1, 1976 she was married to David Elmer Owens at Salina, Kansas.

Her survivors include her husband David of the home; one son Brian Owens, Trenton, Missouri; two sisters Sharon Kay Budden, Mound Ridge, Kansas and Sherril Fay Kerr and husband Greg, Salina, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
