Monica Krance, a 100 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 2:14 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2025 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton.
A rosary is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m.
She is to be cremated following the services with inurnment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton at a later date.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Masses or Church Women's United and may be left with or mailed to the Mortuary.
Monica Sophie Krance was born May 1, 1925 in Hebron, ND to Frank and Frances (Haberman) Binek. Monica grew up one of thirteen siblings. She graduated from Dickinson High School. In November 1957 she was united in marriage to Joseph William “Bill” Krance. They moved to Trenton in 1968 where they both worked for Gondringer Quarry. Bill died in 2008. Monica enjoyed fishing, crocheting, gardening, sewing, cooking, and most of all spending time with her daughter and family.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Karen Sims and husband Mike of Trenton, grandchildren Tiffany Herrold and husband Seth of Gilman City, and Mandy Betz and husband Skylar of Bryant, AL, and great grandchildren Cash and Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, ten brothers and two sisters.
