Mike Bosley

Mike Bosley 69, a resident of Trenton, Missouri, died at 4:43 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. Lukes’s Hospital on the Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri.

Mike was a member of Hodge Presbyterian Church, and memorial services will be held there at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021.  Burial of cremains will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Trenton, Missouri.

Mike was born October 7, 1952, in Trenton, Missouri, the son of Paris M. and Nora Beatrice Lamme Bosley.  He graduated from Trenton High School in 1970.  He attended Trenton Junior College and then transferred to Northwest University graduating with a B.S.E. degree.  Later, he attended BYU and earned a M.A. in sports and recreation.  Throughout his 35 years of teaching and coaching, he was influential to many.

On November 6, 1982, he married Beverly Lankford, and they shared their love for their children, grandchildren, and the friendship of many.

His survivors include his wife Beverly of the home; one daughter Megan Lober and husband Tyson, Kearney, Missouri; two sons Trevor Leeper, Trenton, Missouri and Trent Leeper and wife Robyn, Syracuse, New York; one sister Brenda Heck and husband David, Brimson, Missouri.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren Travis Leeper, Trager Leeper, Tucker Leeper, Truman Leeper, Brylie Lober, Parker Lober, Chase Lober, and Silas Lober.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Ryan Bosley, and three grandchildren Tegan Leeper, Tatum Leeper, and Izabella Leeper.

Memorials may be made to Hodge Presbyterian Church or The Ryan Bosley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
