Mary (Meeker) Munday

Mary Munday, an 83 year old former Trenton resident, passed away at 8:42 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2025 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  Open viewing will be Saturday from 9 until 5.  Memorial donations are suggested to the North 65 Senior Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Mary Margaret Munday was born May 16, 1942 in Osgood, MO, to Alvia William and Trena Georgia (Paulson) Meeker.  She attended Humphrey Schools, and later received her G.E.D.  On September 13, 1975 she was united in marriage to Bernie Munday in Trenton.

Surviving relatives include her husband Bernie of Chillicothe, daughters Tammy Scheib and husband Martin of Trenton and Wendy Drake and husband Brad of Trenton, sons Danny Stottlemyre of Oak Grove, MO and Timothy Munday and wife Cyndy of Chillicothe, a sister Martha Leasor of Laredo, MO, sister-in-law Sondra Meeker of Trenton, twelve grandchildren; Michael Scheib, Michelle Johnson and husband Duane, Cody Stottlemyre, April Pastucharelli and husband Aaron, Jenny Otto, Michael Wagner and wife Angela, Whitney Rinehart and husband Travis, Nicole Munday, Dusty Moore, Katie Salcido, Gretchen Hinton and husband Cliff, and Rianna Kenkel and husband Brian, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, son Rusty Stottlemyre, daughter-in-law Julie Stottlemyre, first husband Jerry Stottlemyre, sisters Avis Eastwood and Betty Margret Meeker, and brothers Eldon, Elisha, Martin, Alvia, and Marvin Meeker.
