Marvin "Henry" Brush, 86 year old resident of Modena MO passed away
Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Wright Memorial Hospital.
Henry was born July 11, 1939 to Glen and Cuma Brush. He was raised and
lived all his life on the family farm in Mercer County. He graduated from
Princeton High School and Trenton Junior College. He served in the US
Army Heavy Artillery for 2 years, serving 1 year in Germany. He married
Venna Mae Kincade on September 17, 1976 at Princeton Christian Church.
He had two daughters April Humble of McGregor IA and Sarah Ray of
Marshall MO.
He was a life time farmer and also a butcher for many years. He was a
faithful member of Grundy Center church in Trenton MO.
He is preceded in death by parents, a sister Martha Brush, an infant
brother, Glen Neil Brush and nephew, Mark Laity.
He is survived by wife, Venna, 2 daughters, April (Brad) Humble and
Sarah (Wayne) Ray; 3 grandchildren, Kade Humble, James Ray and Cheyenne
Ray. 2 Sisters, Nettie (Bill) Laity and Mary (Don) Bryan along with
many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Grundy Center Church on October 18, 2025 from 1:00 P.M to 3:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to go to Grundy Center
Church or the Gideons.
