Martin Nicholas Hormell

Martin Nicholas Hormell, 42, a resident of Excelsior Springs, Missouri died Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.

Family visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the mortuary.

Memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice and they may be left with the mortuary.

Mr. Hormell was born August 7, 1983 at Chillicothe, Missouri the son of Martin Dale Hormell and Candy Jayne Nichols. He was a self-employed painter.

His survivors include his fiancé Ashley Olivia Danielle Bigby, Trenton, Missouri; two daughters Nevaeh Hormell,  Elizabeth Madeline Rose Hormell, Excelsior Springs, Missouri; four sons Martin Evan Donald Hormell, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, William Jordan Lee Hormell, Chillicothe, Missouri, Aidean Odea Dillion Bigby, Jace Axel Cole Pollard; one sister CJ Hormell, Excelsior Springs, Missouri; one brother Cameron Richie, Breckenridge, Missouri two nieces Kiera Jayne Hormell, and Khai Elsie Winn.                             

He was preceded in death by his parents.
