Lynna Sue (Sturdevant) Cagle

Lynna Cagle, a 79 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 9:19 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

She is to be cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home.

Lynna Sue Cagle was born March 18, 1943 in Bethany, MO to Earl and Effie (Tull) Sturdevant.  She was raised in Eagleville, MO.  On October 14, 1980 she was united in marriage to Byron Cagle in Trenton.  Lynna worked as a teachers aide in Chillicothe for Verelle Peniston State School until retiring in 2010.  She enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo.

Surviving relatives include her husband Byron of the home, a son Kenny Dowell (Carolyn ) of Milan, Sisters Carolyn Tharp (Glenn) of Chillicothe, and Teanah Oswalt (Ronnie) of Chillicothe, six grandchildren Gary Dowell (Jessica), Charlie (Sonya), Cali Bachman (Ernest), Justin Dowell (Sarah), Alyssa Dowell (Andy), Crissia White (John), and 16 great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, a brother John Sturdevant and a sister Barbara Warren.
