Lynda (Snidow) Strine

Lynda Strine, an 87 year old Trenton resident, passed away a 9:50 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2026 at her residence where she was under hospice care.

A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2026 at Slater Neal Funeral Home in Trenton. A graveside service will follow in Jamesport Masonic Cemetery in Jamesport. Memorial donations are suggested to the Jamesport Masonic Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Lynda Sue Strine was born May 26, 1938 in Los Angeles, CA to Ed and Lela (Thompson) Snidow. On December 12, 1954 she was united in marriage to Billy Joe Strine at her family farm southwest of Trenton. Lynda was the quiet

backbone of the family farm tending not only to the daily work but to the heart of the home that sustained it. From sunrise to dusk, she nurtured both land and family with steady hands, resilience, and unwavering love. Her presence was woven into every field, every meal and every life she touched. Lynda also worked for home health and the senior center in Trenton for many years.

Surviving relatives include her husband Bill of the home, son James Strine and wife Dianna of Trenton, daughter Jeanne Reinholz of San Diego, CA, sisters Jennifer Williams of Lake Viking, MO, Margaret Scott of Half Rock, MO, and Terry Moore of Princeton, MO, grandchildren; Carla Cooksey, Sarah Schrag, Portia Reinholz,

Rio Reinholz, Eric Strine, and Angela Strine, great grandchildren; Jacob Anderson, Okla Fitzpatrick, Sydney Fitzpatrick, Parker Schrag, and Abby Schrag, great-great grandchildren; Kinley, Henry, Timothy, and Zoey.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, son Bradley J. Strine, sister, Marsha Snidow, and grandchildren Bradley Allen and Katherine Rose.
