Lowell Dean Anderson

Mr. Lowell Dean Anderson, 82, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 12:49 A.M., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Missouri.

He was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Anderson was born October 9, 1942 in Trenton, Missouri the son of C.J. and Veva Cunningham Anderson. He graduated from Spickard High School in 1960. Lowell “Dean” had various occupations in his lifetime, his daughter Kim stated jack of all trades.

On October 20, 1962 he was married to Barbara Hammond. Later in life he married Mary Exley.

His survivors include: two daughters Kimalea Anderson; Mexico, Missouri, Shana Anderson; Guthrie Oklahoma, one son Marty Ray Anderson, Mary Exley; Tindall Missouri, two brothers Mike Anderson,; Trenton, Missouri, Gary Lee; Spickard, Missouri, one sister-in-law Nancy Anderson,; Spickard, Missouri, two granddaughters Isabella and Holly Presson, one grandson Matthew Presson; 6 step-children, twelve step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his pet companion Rolo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Helen Anderson, sister and brother-in-law Ruth and David Groom, sister-in-law Valarie Lee and three brothers Gordon Anderson, Donald Dale Anderson and John Lee .

Lowell Dean “Fuzz” Anderson loved to talk and never knew a stranger; he always had a smile on his face and was described as ornery by his family. He loved to go dancing and spend time with his friends and family. Lowell had many hobbies including stock car racing and tractors. He collected tractors both toy and large, he enjoyed showing his tractors off in local parades and to anyone who was willing to come by his house and look at his collection. Lowell was also an avid woodworker and spent time as the owner of Grandpa’s Attic where he sold toys he designed and built. Lowell loved animals and was never without a pet companion.

Lowell Dean will be missed by all.
