Linda Cudney

Diane Cudney, born November 5, 1945, in Trenton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, at Liberty Hospital. She spent her life in Trenton, where she built lasting connections with her family and friends.

She was the beloved mother of Bryan Chumbley and Brad Chumbley, and a proud grandmother to John Chumbley, Zack Chumbley, Ross Chumbley, Josie Chumbley, Jeremiah Chumbley, and Garrett Runnels. Diane’s joy extended to her great-grandchildren, Briggs Chumbley and Lincoln Chumbley, who brought her endless smiles.

Diane dedicated much of her career to Trenton High School, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues. Outside of work, she found happiness in tending to her flowers and feeding and watching the birds that visited her yard.

Diane is survived by her sons Bryan (Julia) Chumbley and Brad Chumbley; grandchildren Zack (Kayla) Chumbley, John Chumbley, Ross Chumbley, Garrett Runnels, Josie Chumbley, and Jeremiah Chumbley; and great-grandchildren Briggs Chumbley and Lincoln Chumbley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Rosemary Cudney.

At this time, no services are planned.

Diane will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of nature, and the devotion she showed to her family.
