Keith Potter, 90, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 4:11 A.M., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence.
Lawrence “Keith” Potter was born November 22, 1932 in Green City, Missouri the son of Lawrence Kenneth and Erma Jean Smith Potter. On November 6, 1950 he was married to June Rosenstangle in Arkansas.
He attended Trenton High School. and later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Kirksville College, Kirksville, Missouri. He was veteran of the U.S. Marine’s serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed accountant for several years before retiring. He raised quarter horses and poled Hereford cattle.
His survivors include his wife June of the home; one daughter Marci Divine and husband Dave, Albany, Missouri; one son Michael Keith Potter and wife Christina, Cameron, Missouri; one sister Linda Stith, Trenton, Missouri; two brothers Charles Potter and wife Janet, Carl Potter and wife Jana all of the state of Oregon; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Evelyn Ishmael and Donna Potter.
Services will be held at the Dockery Chapel Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at 1:00 p.m. There will be a family graveside service at Resthaven Mortuary following the service.
Mr Potter was cremated under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.
Memorials to either Dockery Chapel Church, Trenton or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and may be with the mortuary.
