Kay Louise Still, 77, passed away peacefully at her home on May 18, 2026.
Kay was born on September 15, 1948, in Spickard, Missouri, to Gorden Gibler and Pauline Ratliff Gibler.
She grew up with a love for family, community, and the simple joys in life that stayed with her throughout the years.
On September 9, 1966, she married the love of her life, Erva “Dale” Still. Together they built a life in Jamesport centered around family, love, and countless memories shared over the years.
Kay found happiness in the little things that made life special. She loved watching her Orioles and admiring hummingbirds. One of her greatest joys was spending time at the ballfield. Whether cheering on her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, she rarely missed a game and treasured every moment spent supporting her family from the stands.
More than anything, Kay will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. Her presence, encouragement, and steady support touched generations and created memories that will be cherished forever.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will continue to honor her memory through the traditions, laughter, and love she passed down.
She leaves behind a brother Ray Gibler (Kay) of Blue Springs, three daughters, Teresa Muetzel (Mark) of Jamesport, Stephanie Eckert (Mike) of Jamesport, and Frances Whitney (Brad) of Trenton. 8 grandchildren, Gib Wray (Kelly) of Trenton, Denten Wray (Jamie) of Jamesport, Paiten Sackrey (Brad) of Mooresville, Keiten Stout (Donovan) of Trenton, RaeAnne Raines (Rob) of Cameron, Austin Eckert (Kaylee) of Jamesport, Alexis Proffitt (Wade) of Trenton and Bryce Whitney (Stacey) of Trenton, Great-Grand Kids; Oaklyn, Brionna, Kabelah, Gavin, Kaylee Jo, Jentri, Emma, Brad Jr., Annabelle, Braydon, Jayla, Kaine and Tess, a great grandchild on the way and a great great grandchild on the way.
