Kathleen L. (Darnell) Caldwell

Mrs. Kathleen Lucille Caldwell 89, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 5:15 P.M. at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Tenth Street Baptist Church, Trenton, Missouri. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery north of Trenton.

Family visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Church.

Open visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.

Mrs. Caldwell was born October 23, 1932 in Busch, Missouri the daughter of James Thomas and Ida Mae Ayers Darnell. She attended the Busch, Missouri school. She also had worked at several area nursing homes.

She attended the Tenth Street Baptist Church.

On October 23, 1932 she was married to Leonard Lowell Caldwell at Marseilles, Illinois. He preceded her death on December 22, 2009.

Her survivors include one daughter Kathy King and husband Glen, Trenton, Missouri; three sons Fred Caldwell, Trenton, Missouri, Steve Caldwell and wife Cyndie, Trenton, Missouri, Paul Caldwell and wife Carla, Knob Noster, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great great grandchildren child; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend Dixie Overton, Trenton, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Naomi Northcutt, Opal Hawkins; four brothers, James Darnell, Paul Darnell, Andrew Darnell, Lloyd Darnell, and her fiancé Jack Stork.
