Judy Allen, a 73 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her residence in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Slater Neal Funeral Home in Trenton. A visitation is scheduled from 10 until service time Tuesday. She is to be cremated following the services. Memorial donations are suggested to the North 65 Senior Center to be used in the Meals on Wheels program.
Judy Ann Allen was born June 11, 1951 in Chicago, IL the daughter of William and Shirley (Gibbs) Jones. She was raised and lived in Chicago until her mid 20’s when she moved To Trenton. On February 23, 1973 she was united in marriage to Russell Dale Allen. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2021. Judy worked as a dietician for Wright Memorial Hospital and Eastview Manor in Trenton. She also did home health care for many years. Drinking coffee and spending time with her grandchildren were two of her favorite past times.
Surviving relatives include her son Jason Allen and wife Sarah of Trenton, step children Quinn Allen and Deleta Foster and husband Ronnie of Trenton, sisters Diane “Trudy” Wendland of Wichita, KS, Pat Cargo and husband Curtis of Godley, TX, and Donna Griffin and husband Bill of Independence, MO, seven grandchildren; Vanessa Kelly, Elizabeth Dollins, Hillary Allen, Emily Cox, Dustin Foster and wife Danielle, Allena Bankus and husband Conner, and Tyler Allen, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, step father Frank Osborn, sister Sandra Lambert, a nephew Trey Smith and a niece Niki Ragsdale.
