Mr. Jonny L. George 89, a resident of Trenton, Mo. died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:28 P.M. at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton.
His body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton. No services are planned at this time.
Memorials to either Hatton Chapel Cemetery or Backpack Buddies and may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Mr. George was born July 29, 1931 at Topeka, Kansas the son of Lynden and Hazel Cargile George. He graduated from Silver Lake, Kansas High School. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Hatton Chapel Church north of Trenton.
On November 10, 1951 he was married to Clara M. Wade at Lawrence, Kansas.
His survivors include his wife Clara of the home. Three daughters Joy Jackson and husband Steve, Trenton, Robin Patrick and husband Charles, Cosby, Mo., and Renee George, Trenton. One son Wade George and wife Sally, Brasher, MO. One son-in-law Dennis Sager, Trenton. Two sisters Vada McRoberts, Silver Lake, Kansas and K French and husband Gary, Topeka, Kansas. One Brother Lester George and wife Norma, Spickard, Mo. Seven grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Annette Sager, two sisters Grace Linville, Joy George and one brother Donald George.
