Jerry Lee Stalder age 81 of Laredo, MO passed away Wednesday evening at Wright Memorial Hospital under the care of Hospice and had his wife Mary Ann and son Kerry by his side. He had been in failing health the past five years and in a critical condition the past two weeks.
He was a native of Washington, IA. He did his undergraduate work at S.M.S.U. in Springfield, MO and received his Master’s Degree at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. He retired November 2010 after a 37½ year career with the Army Corp. of Engineers. Since being retired he has enjoyed the company of the many pet rescues he and his wife have mad. He has also been a contributor to the Green Hills Animal Shelter especially when a new washer or drier was needed.
According to his wishes he is to be cremated under the direction of Sater Neal Funeral Home. Memorials would be appreciated in his memory to the Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be mailed to the funeral home.
