Jerry A. Gibson

Mr. Jerry A. Gibson, 76, a resident of Newtown, MO. died Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 5:46 P.M. at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Newtown Christian Church, Newtown. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.

Memorials to: Newtown Cemetery and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.

Mr. Gibson was born November 2, 1943 at Harris, Mo. the son of Charles and Dorothy Mildred Doolin Gibson. He graduated from Newtown High School. He was a retired farmer.

His survivors include one daughter Kim Tipton and her husband Doug, Lees Summit, Mo., two sons Chris Gibson and Charlie Gibson both of Newtown, MO. Two sisters Judy Robison, Pasco, WA. and Charlene Thompson and husband Robert, Kansas City, MO. One brother Jimmy Gibson and wife Alvera, Lucerne, MO.  Four Grandchildren Garrett Tipton and wife Ricki, Kaylie Tipton, Madison Downard and husband Ridge, and Allison Garcia and husband Ismael. Five great grandchildren Bella, Addison, Isaiah, Hadley and Lincoln. One aunt Helen Pauley, Trenton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law Robert Robinson.
