Jeanne Anne (Witten) Jones

Jeanne Anne (Witten) Jones, Aged 96, Trenton, Missouri resident passed away peacefully on January31, 2025.

Jeanne was born on September 13, 1928 at the family farm in the forks of the river. She was the daughter of Willard and Eula (Crawford) Witten.

Jeanne married Bob Jones on July 4, 1948 at the Trenton First Christian Church.

Jeanne is survived by their four children; Rebecca (Dan Bonderer) Jones of Kansas City, Missouri, Susan (LeRoy) Huffstutter of Trenton, Missouri; Barbie (Doug) Elliott of Kansas City, Missouri, Zach (Sonci) Jones of Trenton, Missouri.

She is also survived by grandsons; Eric (Brandi) Huffstutter, David Kinnamon, John Kinnamon, Aaron (Sara) Huffstutter, Luke (Emily) Elliott, Joseph (Vanessa) Elliott and Zane (Jordan) Jones and granddaughters; Laura Kinnamon, Betsy (Luke) Cachia, Jill (Shane) Homan, and Sadie (Ben) Beetsma and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother-in-law William Vaughn and sister-in-law Hilda Witten.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters Carmen Prewitt, Mary Witten, Celia Vaughn and one brother James Witten.

Jeanne Jones was loved and respected by many, and will be missed by all.

There will be a celebration of life Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church of Trenton, Missouri.   

Donations are suggested to either Church Women United or Salem Cemetery and may be left with Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.
