Mrs. Jean Wilson, 89, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 12:28 A.M., Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Stonebridge of Chillicothe, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri.
Family visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.
Mrs. Wilson was born April 22, 1936 in Trenton, Missouri the daughter of Dwight (Colonel) and Elizabeth Chappell Proctor. She grew up in Tindall, Missouri and attended Tindall and Trenton Schools. She lived in Grundy County area all of her life. She retired from Modine Manufacture, Trenton, Missouri in 1988 after working there for 25 years.
In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball, spending time with her family and friends at the ballpark, and sharing laughs over purple passion near the softball diamond. Jean loved to drive fast and especially enjoyed riding in her son-in-law’s corvette. She also enjoyed riding horses, four- wheelers and motorcycles.
She was married June 13, 1965 to Edward Wilson at Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2010.
She was a member of the Edinburg Baptist Church west of Trenton, Missouri.
Her survivors include one daughter Robin Yerington and husband Edward, Lees Summit, Missouri; one son David Wilson, Kansas City, Missouri; one sister Sue Johnson and Husband Floyd, Trenton, Missouri; two grandchildren Olivia Yerington, Stone Yerington and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Margie Lovett, one niece and her dog Wolfie.
