Jackie I. (Tharp) Marrs

Jackie I. Marrs, 75, a resident of Spickard, Missouri died at 7:48 P.M., Friday, November 28, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Spickard Christian Church, Spickard, Missouri. Burial of cremains will be in North Evans Cemetery east of Spickard.

Family visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.                                              at Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.

Memorials may be left with Resthaven Mortuary or the Spickard Rural Fire District and may also be left with the mortuary.

Jackie was born November 10, 1950 at Trenton, Missouri the daughter of Jack and Dilila Kincade Tharp. Before retiring she was employed in the food service department for the Spickard R-2 School District and then she was employed part time at Sunnyview Nursing Home also in the food service department.

Her survivors include her daughter Lisa Brewer and husband Kevin, Spickard, Missouri; five grandchildren Brandon Brewer, Taron Loyd and husband Steve, Samantha Brewer and Craig Loyd, Trevor Oneil, Halie Dallas and husband John; five great grandchildren Paiton Brewer, Brycin Loyd and wife Teya, Adelynn Loyd, Brantley Hagan, Zaylee Flint; three sisters Patricia Travis, Liberty, Missouri, Doris Travis, Salina, Kansas, Brenda Tharp, Trenton, Missouri; two brothers Wendell Tharp, Spickard, Missouri, Richard Tharp, Spickard, Missouri; special family member Erica Zang and her children Makayla and Ozzie Zang, Trenton, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Stacy Hodge.
