Helen P. (Lake) Spickard

Mrs. Helen P. Spickard, 91, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 1:15 A.M., Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Church Of The Nazarene, Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens north of Trenton.

Open visitation will Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.

Mrs. Spickard was born May 16, 1930 at Spickard, Missouri the daughter of Gerald Dane and Goldie Delia Sego Lake. She was employed by P.N. Hirsh for 27 years and then by Dollar General as manager for 9 years both stores were in Trenton.

She was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene, Trenton.

On March 19, 1977 she was married at Trenton to Billie B. Spickard. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1998.

Her survivors include one daughter Debra Dowell and husband Ronald, Trenton, Missouri, two sons David Reid and wife Terri, Trenton, Missouri and Dane Reid, Gilman City, Missouri; five grandchildren Jeremy Dowell and wife Tash, Joshua Dowell, Charlie Reid and wife Cori, Adrian Cox and wife Tyann,  Dustin Cox and wife Mandy; and ten great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
