Harold Lee Obituary

Harold Duane Lee, a 79 year old Spickard, MO resident, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence.

He is to be cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton.  Memorial donations can be made to any children’s foundation.

Harold Duane Lee was born December 29, 1940 in Council Bluffs, IA to Roy and Wyona (Neve) Lee.  He attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs.  On June 10, 1962 he was united in marriage to Betty Jane Kelley in Greenfield, IA.  Harold served in the United States Navy for 14 years, and retired as Radioman Chief Petty Officer.  He then worked for B & W Construction as an office manager.  He enjoyed being with family, seeing his grandchildren and watching his son’s stock car racing.

Surviving relatives include his wife Betty of the home, daughters Penny Atteberry and husband Russell of Faucett, MO, and Kelly Moscato and husband Larry of Council Bluffs, IA, sons Shawn Lee of Ketchikan, AK, and Michael Lee of Spickard, sisters Mary Leek and Jan McCord and husband Steve both of Council Bluffs, brothers David Lee and wife Patricia and Roy Lee and wife Wendy both of Council Bluffs, grandchildren; Alisha & Jason Sawyer, Bo & Jessica Atteberry, Amanda & Chad Mrsny, Daniel Moscato, Clayton & Jennifer Atteberry and Silas Lee, and nine great grandchildren.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, sisters Penny Lee and Barbara Joslin, and a brother Robert Lee.
