Graham McVay

Mr. Graham McVay, 60, a resident of Trenton, Missouri, died at 11:25 P.M., Saturday, November 25,2023 at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church, Trenton, Missouri. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton, Missouri.

Open visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri.

Memorials to either the Trenton R-9 School District to use for a memorial in Graham’s honor or the First Christian Church. They may be left with the funeral home.

Mr. McVay was born on October 21, 1963, in Trenton, Missouri the son of Robert Ross and Barbara Evelyn Perry McVay. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1982 and graduated from Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, Missouri with Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture in 1988. He retired in 2023 after working for 35 years for the Trenton R-9 School District.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Trenton, Missouri.

He is survived by the many staff and students of the Trenton R-9 School District.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother William Perry McVay.
