Mr. Edward J. Arney 70, a resident of Trenton, Mo. died Sunday, April 5, 2020 at 3:26 P.M. at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton.
Services will be held later under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.
Mr. Arney was born June 9, 1949 the son of Guy Edward and Navo Neill Arney. He graduated from Princeton High School and attended North Central Missouri College (Trenton Junior College) and then graduated from Northeast Missouri State University, Kirksville. He was employed by Perry Electric, Princeton worked on the railroad, lived in South Carolina where he worked at several government facilities.
He was a member of electrical union local 145, Rock Island, Il.
On November 4, 1994 he was married to Joy Ann Wade at Miami, Ok.
His survivors include his wife Joy of the home. Five children including Angela Lynn, Guy Eugene and Shelly Elaine. One sister Donna Wilson and husband Eugene, Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
