Earlene Moore, an 89 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 5:15 a.m., Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the First Christian Church in Trenton. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Garden of Trenton. Memorial donations are suggested to either the First Christian Church or the North 65 Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Earlene Bea Moore was born August 6, 1936 in Trenton to Clyde H. and Margaret Louise (Bean) Murphy. On September 18, 1960 she was united in marriage to James Moore at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Earlene worked as a R.N. for many years, serving as Director of Nursing for Wright Memorial Hospital, Cullers Hospital, and Sunnyview Nursing Home. After retiring, Earlene and Jim enjoyed traveling and being snowbirds for 18 years.
Surviving relatives include her husband James of the home, children Brigette Bunnell and husband Gary of Trenton, Mark Moore and wife Beverly of Trenton and Michael Moore of Sweet Springs, MO, a sister Karen Mitchell of Paola, KS, grandchildren Brooke McAtee and husband Adam, Ryan Urton and wife Megan, Eric Bunnell and wife Kristin, Aaron Bunnell, Mariah Templeton and husband Mark, Miles Moore and wife Vanessa, Ally Moore, Addison Moore, Bethany Grant, Levi Moore, and Ryan Moore, great grandchildren; Aidan McAtee and wife Olivia, Elizabeth Bunnell, Katheryn Bunnell, Gavin McAtee, Aubree Chromey, Alyssa Bunnell, Colin Urton, Ambrie Bunnell, Carter Bunnell, Brooks Moore, Matilynn Moore. Charlotte Moore, Beau Moore, Liam King, Breyer Templeton, Markus Templeton, Anthony Templeton, Labrina Templeton, Joshua Templeton, and Madison Templeton.
Those preceding her in death include her parents and a grandchild Abby Moore.
