Donna M. (Shields) Wagner

Mrs. Donna Marie Wagner, 90, a resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 11:35 P.M., Monday, October 23, 2023 at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Missouri.

Graveside will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Martin Cemetery north of Trenton, Missouri. 

Family visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton, Missouri.

Memorials To either Martin Cemetery or American Diabetes Association and they may be left with the mortuary. 

Mrs. Wagner was born January 22, 1933, in Brimson, Missouri the daughter of Herman and Marie Nickerson Shields. Before retiring she was employed for 48 years at J.C. Penny in Trenton, Missouri starting employment there in 1951.

On February 8, 1952, she was married to J.L. Wagner. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2007.

Her survivors include one son John Wagner and wife Karen, Tindall, Missouri; granddaughter Jenny Otto and husband Lance, Trenton, Missouri; grandson Michael Wagner and wife Angela, Tindall, Missouri, granddaughter Shelly Gallagher, State Of Florida, step-granddaughter Tiffany Cannon and husband Matt, Tindall, Missouri, step-granddaughter Hannah Brill and husband Josh; seven great-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; one brother Charles Shields and wife Rosalie, St. Joseph, Missouri; and special friend Laura Sue Daniels, Trenton, Missouri. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Larry Shields. 


