Mr. Darrell G. Lehr 97, a resident of Trenton, Mo. died at 3:33 P.M. Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Eastview Manor Care Center, Trenton.
His body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, Trenton at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2020. Burial of cremains will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, North of Trenton.
Memorials to Joseph L. Norton Post No. 919 V.F.W. and they may be left or mailed to the mortuary.
Mr. Lehr was born July 24, 1923 at Cameron, Missouri the son of Lorren and Jenny Hazel Clevenger Lehr. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Before retiring he was employed for 41 years by the Santa Fe Railroad as a special agent.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Joseph L. Norton Post NO. 919 V.F.W. both of Trenton and member of Winslow, Arizona Masonic Lodge.
On November 21, 1942 he was married to Marilyn Elaine Ishmael at Holbrook, Arizona. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2012.
His survivors include his daughter Rhonda Schmidt, Florissant, Missouri. One granddaughter Jessica Brie Schmidt, Higginsville, Missouri
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter Cynthia Wilhelm.
