Mrs. Cora Lucille Shuler 101, a resident of Trenton, Mo. died Monday, June 8, 2020 at 9:45 P.M. at Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton.
Private graveside services will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 at Edinburg Cemetery west of Trenton.
Open visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 after 10:00 A.M. at the Slater –Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.
Memorials To: Three Rivers Hospice, Cameron, Mo. they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Mrs. Shuler was born July 17, 1918 in Orange, CA. the daughter of Orville and Augusta Ferguson Collins. She moved to Grundy County, MO. when she was four with her parents. She attended rural schools and age 13 was baptized by Bro. Homer Harris.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and then joined the 10th Street Baptist Church where she worked with the Sunbeams with Gladys Harris when her children were small. She was president of her Sunday School Class for many years until her health failed.
On Oct. 18, 1948 she was married to Jessie Shuler at the First Baptist Church, Trenton. He passed away on April 28, 2014.
Her survivors include in one daughter Nancy Tate and Husband Gary, Laredo, Mo. and one son Ronnie Shuler and Wife Nancy Carol., Letts, Iowa. Also surviving are Six Grandchildren, Seventeen Great Grandchildren, and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Robert Brannam and one sister Louise Quint.
