Claget M. Fairley

Claget M. Fairley, a 77 year old Harris, MO resident, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his home.

Claget M. Fairley was born on February 8, 1947 in Harris, MO to Max and Kathleen (Jaynes) Fairley. After graduating High School he was inducted into the United States Army on May 25, 1966. Claget served in the 1st Infantry Division in the combat fields of Vietnam. He was honorable discharged on February 29, 1968. He then returned to the Wintersville Community near Harris where he farmed the remainder of his life. He enjoyed helping his neighbors and friends. He was an avid hunter and very proud of his military time.

He is survived by close friends, who considered him family, John and Beth Mino and their family. He is also survived by a host of cousins, friends and neighbors.

He was cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton, Missouri with memorial graveside and military services to be held Saturday, March 30,2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Asbury Cemetery, southeast of Harris, Missouri.
