Charles was born on October 9, 1944 in his childhood home in Green City, MO to Erwin
H. and Ethel M. (Hart) Price, where he grew up surrounded by the love and values that
would shape him into the man everyone knew and loved. After graduating from Green
City High School in 1962, he embarked on the next chapter of his life. On January 12,
1964, Charles married Meri Catherine Spears, a union that marked the beginning of a
beautiful lifelong journey together. Their marriage became a foundation of love, mutual
respect, and shared dreams, with each day adding to a rich tapestry of memories they
built side by side.

Charlie dedicated 43 years of hard work at Trenton Foods on the Vienna Sausage line,
but his legacy is so much more than that. To his children, grandchildren, friends and
family, he is remembered as the man who built the home he shared with his loved ones
on his own farm – a place where he found joy riding horses and mules, hunting, and
raising A.K.C. registered beagles.

Charlie’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was a cherished member of the 10 th
Street Baptist Church, where his kindness and humor left a lasting impact.
Above all, Charlie’s greatest joy came from his family, especially his beloved wife, Meri.
Their love was the foundation of the home they built together, and he cherished every
moment spent by her side. He also had a special bond with his grandchildren, always
ready with a joke or a smile to brighten their day. Their laughter brought him endless
happiness, and he, in turn, filled their lives with warmth, love, and unforgettable
memories.

Charlie is survived by his Devoted wife, Meri, of the home; his son, Micheal Price and
wife Laura of Milan, MO; his daughter, Dena Long and husband David of Trenton, MO;
and his brother, Donald Price and wife Nancy of Kirksville, MO. He also leaves behind
several beloved nieces and nephews, along with a legacy of love in his nine cherished
grandchildren – Tonya Sanchez and husband Jorge, Robbie Davis, David “Kyle” Davis
and wife Stacey, Sarah Sinclair and husband Shawn, Derek Price, Dillon Price, Jordan
Long, Katie Long and Sierra Long – 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great
grandchildren, each of whom brought him endless pride and joy.

Charlie was proceeded in death by his loving parents and his brother, Ronald Price.

Though he is no longer by their side, his memory and the impact he made on their lives
will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
