Obituary

Carol Jean Martin 85,  a resident of Trenton, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at home with her daughter, Lynda (Caselman) Bell by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Edinburg Baptist Church west of Trenton. Burial will be in Edinburg Cemetery.

Family visitation will from 1:00 P.M. To 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Church. Open visitation will Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton.

Memorials to either Edinburg Cemetery or Edinburg Baptist Church and they may be left with the funeral home.

Carol was born February 26, 1936 in Daviess County, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Letha (Rosebaum) Saul.  She grew up on the family farm outside of Jamesport, Missouri  with her parents and younger sister Marian (Saul) Moulin, and had moved back in 1995 after having relocated to Minnesota in 1980. It was on the family farm that she grew up, that she also went to be with her heavenly father.

Carol was a member of the Edinburg Baptist Church and was baptized there July, 1953. Carol was a devout Christian and served the Lord not only in her personal life, but also working at the Minnesota-Wisconsin Southern Baptist Convention Center in Rochester, Minnesota for 14 years.

Carol was a loving, caring and hard working mother of two children, son David Caselman, and daughter Lynda (Caselman) Bell.

Carol loved working outside in the garden and yard, planting flowers and trees, and keeping her yard looking nice. Carol also loved keeping up with what was going on with her niece, great niece and great nephew, and great great nieces and nephew in their horse showing, barrel races, ATV racing, schooling, and farming activities.

Carol is survived by her daughter Lynda of the home, sister Marian (Saul) Moulin, Gilman City, Missouri, Grandson Gabriel Martin, Gallatin, Missouri, great niece Randee Prindle, great nephew Daniel (Tasha) Prindle, great great nieces Kayla and Kinley, and great great nephew Tanner all of Gilman City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Wesley (Bud) Caselman and James Martin, son David Caselman, niece Kim Prindle, and brother in law Gary Moulin
