Cardelia Anne Reaves

Cardelia Anne "Carrie Anne" Reaves of Trenton, MO (formerly Edwardsville KS) passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

A memorial visitation is scheduled from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Inurnment will be at a later dated in Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, KS.  Memorials are suggested to the funeral home for expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Carrie was born in Kansas City, MO on July 10, 1960 to William H. Reaves, Sr. and Sharon Sue (Ashley) Reaves. She is preceded in death by her parents and her faithful fur baby Camille.

Carrie had a lot of responsibilities from a young age returning home to raise her 3 youngest siblings after her best friend, her Mom's passing in 1984.

She loved too cook and made sure no one left hungry. She loved her KFC, drinking coke and eating a whole pumpkin pie. 

She loved reading romance books, writing short stories and learning all she could about her family's history. She had spent 50 years working on her family's genealogy. She loved thrift stores and yard sales.

She held many degrees and helped others get into college. Education was important to her.

She is so very much loved and will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her niece Noelle Reaves of the home and her loving fur babies Delilah, Theo, Simon, Izzy and Charlie. Her siblings Jr, Rusty (Kimber), Chris, Pebbles and Barbara (Sonna) and her thrifting buddy Tyler Reaves. Also many nieces and nephews.
