Obituary
Mr. Billy G. Jackson, 87, a resident of Galt, Missouri died at 1:40 P.M., Monday, June 19, 2023 at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Missouri.
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri. No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Jackson was born November 17, 1935 at Laredo, Missouri the son of Leonard Lee and Gertrude A. Gilkerson Jackson. He graduated from Galt High School. He was “a” veteran of the U.S. Army. He moved to Illinois where he worked on a horse farm, then went to work on the race track circuit. In 1964 he moved back to Galt, Missouri where he lived until 1968 and then back to work at the race tracks in California, New Jersey, Nebraska, Florida, and New York. He moved back to Galt in 1993.
His survivors include one brother Delbert Jackson and wife Martha, Galt, Missouri and one sister Neva Jordon, Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Earl Ray Jackson.
