Barbara A. (Burtch) Williams

Barbara Ann (Burtch) Williams, 87, of Trenton, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2026 in Burkburnett, Texas.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Family visitation will start 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens north of Trenton.

Barbara was born on October 12, 1938 in Chula, Missouri. She resided in the Trenton and Jamesport areas for most of her adult life.

She was co-owner of Williams Appliance store, Williams Paint, Wallpaper and Glass store and the Sears catalog store, all in Trenton. In later years, she was a real estate agent and jewelry salesperson.

Barbara will be remembered for her artistic spirit, her delicious homemade pies, her love of shopping, and the devotion she showed to her family throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Teresa Mitchell (Patrick) of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren Jared Hughes, Justin Siemer, Lindsay Pedersen and Ayanna Mitchell; six great-grandchildren with a seventh great-grandchild expected soon; brothers-in-law Dean Williams and Eugene Williams; along with nieces and nephews, other family members and friends, who will all cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Burtch and Helen (Sallee) Burtch; her brothers, Robert G. Burtch, Billy Burtch and Buddy Burtch; her first husband, Olen Williams; her second husband, Larry Williams; two children, David Williams and Beth Ann Williams; and her sister-in-law, Vaughncile Purdy.

The family suggests donations to the North 65 Center in Trenton or the First Christian Church of Trenton in lieu of flowers.
