Audrey Jones

Audrey Jones a 61 year old Chillicothe resident, passed away at 8:18 p.m. at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO.

She is to be cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton

Audrey Jones was born November 29, 1961 in Phoenix, AZ to Kenneth and Audrey (McCormick) Stevens.  She graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, KS.  She worked as a dispatcher in Livingston County until retiring in May of 2021.  Audrey loved art and was an excellent painter and maker of Jewelry.  She loved to read and cook and loved all kinds of animals.  She even worked for an exotic animal park where she would help take care of rescue animals.

Surviving relatives include her daughter Lindsay Kepner and her husband Brent of Chillicothe, MO, granddaughter Maggie Churchill of Maryville, MO, and her long time best friend Jackie Reding and husband Monte of Elk City, KS.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
