Alyssa Kay Conwell

Alyssa Kay Conwell, a 31-year-old resident of Trenton, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, at her parents’ residence in Trenton.

Alyssa was born on September 13, 1992, in Oak Harbor, WA, to James Raymond and Tina Marie (Lindsay) Conwell. She graduated from Mercer High School, where she actively participated in dance, softball, and cheerleading. In 2010, she was honored as Miss Congeniality in the Miss Teen Missouri pageant.

Alyssa was known for her fierce independence and er love for all animals. She worked as a dental assistant at the Crossroads Correctional Facility in Cameron, bringing her dedication and compassion to her work every day.

Alyssa is survived by her loving parents, James and Tina. Her cherished children Carson, Carter, and Conner , her beloved niece Oakley, her deeply devoted brothers Andrew and Anthony, and her adoring sister Ashley, all of Trenton. The bond Alyssa shared with her siblings was incredibly strong, characterized by mutual support, love, and unwavering loyalty. Also survived by Aunts Judy, Debbie, Lisa(Zack), Terri(Steve),  Sherri, Uncle Jeff(Debbie)and numerous Cousins. Paternal Grandfather Raymond (Mary Jo) Conwell.

Preceded in death by Paternal Grandmother Patricia Graham and Maternal Grandparents Norman and Marjorie Lindsay. Aunts Jodi, Nancy, Lori and Donna. Uncles Mike and Bill.

Alyssa’s family will remember her for her vibrant spirit, her determination, and the love she had for her children, family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Alyssa will be cremated under the direction of Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
