Alleta Chrisman Elwell, 100, a resident of Liberty, Missouri and former resident of Trenton, Missouri died at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Manor, Liberty, Missouri.
Her body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home, Trenton, Missouri. No services are planned at this time.
Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association and may be left with the funeral home.
Mrs. Elwell was born October 14, 1920 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the daughter of J.D. and Florence Mitchell Lober. Before retiring she was employed by Montgomery Ward as an accounting clerk. She was a member of Eastern Star and Elks Lodge.
She was also a member of the Methodist Church at Laurie, Missouri.
On November 6, 1940 she was married to Myron Chrisman at Trenton. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1984. Then on June 22, 1996 she was married to Sam Elwell at Laurie, Missouri. He passed away on June 8, 2013.
Her survivors include her daughter Marsha Tucker, Kansas City, Missouri. Four grandchildren Alissa Wiggins, Brent Baugher, Eric Baugher, Daniel Baugher, three great grandchildren Maci Henson, Gavin Baugher, Gage Baugher and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded death by her parents, husband, one infant Billy Chrisman, one son Larry Chrisman, two sisters and two brothers.
